Built fromscratch.

Energiz.dk is a Danish e-commerce store for floor heating systems and floor heating plates. I built it from scratch for my father.

This one is family. The brief was practical: clear product structure, fast checkout, content that helps the customer choose the right system before they pick up the phone.

The work is not a campaign. It is the platform, the catalogue, the technical pages, and the calls that follow.

What I did

    The webshop from scratch. Platform, theme, payments, shipping, structure. Built to be the one I would want to buy from.

    Product taxonomy for floor heating. Systems, plates, accessories, brand. The structure that makes the catalogue findable.

    Content that helps before it sells. Guides on choosing the right system, installation steps, real questions answered.
  4. 4
    SEO and Google Ads for high-intent buyers. People in renovation mode. Long sales cycles, technical questions, real conversations.
  5. 5
    Brand and trust. A small Danish brand competing with bigger players. Trust is the moat.

What I took with me

Build like you are the customer.

You design better when you know the buyer is your fathers friend, not a persona.

Technical category, helpful content.

Floor heating buyers do not want sales copy. They want answers. The shop that answers wins.

Family projects keep you honest.

If it does not work, your father will tell you. Useful constraint.
