A/B Test

An A/B test is a controlled comparison of two variants where only one element is changed, in order to measure which one performs best. In advertising, the method is used on creatives, headlines, audiences or landing pages. A valid test requires a sufficient data set before conclusions are drawn.

By running an A/B test on two different hero images, an advertiser can determine which one delivers the highest conversion rate.
