What I help with

As a freelance e-commerce consultant, I help webshops and brands grow in a way where the growth actually pays off. The starting point is rarely a single channel, but the whole picture: where the business makes money, where it leaks, and what makes sense to do first.

In practice, I work with, among other things:

  • Strategy and prioritisation. What to move first and what can wait, judged on margin and real numbers.
  • SEO and organic growth. A foundation that brings traffic over time without depending on ad spend.
  • Google Ads and paid traffic. Advertising judged on profit rather than vanity clicks.
  • Email and automation. The flows that work for you without a cost per impression.
  • Data and measurement. Proper tracking, so decisions rest on numbers rather than gut feeling, including POAS rather than ROAS.
  • Visibility in AI answers. So your shop is found when people ask an AI instead of searching.

The common thread is an approach I call Profit Engineering: seeing the channels as parts of a whole and measuring them against the bottom line rather than against vanity numbers.

One person, not an agency

Many brands have tried a large agency, where the pitch was run by a senior and the work afterwards was done by a junior. Here it is the same person all the way through. You plan with me, talk to me and get the work from me.

That means a short path from decision to action, no layers of project management to talk through, and an adviser who knows your business in depth rather than at surface level. In return, my time is limited, which is why I say no to work where I do not believe I can make a real difference.

How a collaboration works

It always starts with a conversation about where you stand and what you want to achieve. From there, the shape depends on the need. It can be a single review with concrete recommendations, a defined project, or an ongoing collaboration where I am a steady sparring partner over time.

  • Clarify. We talk through your situation, your numbers and your goals, with no obligation.
  • Direction. I point to where there is most to gain and what should be prioritised.
  • Execution. Either I do the work, or I guide your team so that it is done right.
  • Follow-up. We measure what genuinely matters and adjust from there.

Who it suits

It suits webshops and brands that want an experienced person close by rather than a whole agency to coordinate. That might be an owner who is missing someone to spar with as an equal, a marketing lead who needs an extra hand on the hard parts, or a management team that wants an independent view on whether the money is being spent well.

It is a poorer fit if you are looking for the cheapest option or a guarantee of a specific number. I do not promise results I cannot stand behind. I work thoroughly and honestly, and that is what I can promise.

International and Nordic clients

I am based in Copenhagen and work with both Danish and international brands. Part of the value for a company abroad, for example Swedish, Norwegian or global, is having one experienced point of contact in Denmark and the Nordics rather than building a whole local setup or steering an agency from a distance.

I know the Nordic market from the inside, work comfortably in English, and understand both the cultural and the commercial differences that decide whether a webshop succeeds across borders. If you are looking for a Nordic e-commerce consultant you can talk to directly, this is where you find one.

Experience and background

I am CEO of Danish webshops, and I advise from practice rather than theory, because I sit with a bottom line myself every day. Over more than ten years I have worked with digital marketing across more than twenty brands.

I have spoken at eTail Nordic and Savant eCommerce on how GenAI can be used for content, tracking and profitability, and I have taught as a guest lecturer at Copenhagen Business School. You can see more examples under cases.

FAQ

Freelance e-commerce consultant, in brief

Are you an agency?
No. It is me. The advice is delivered through Profit Studio, but in practice it is the same person you talk to, plan with and get the work from. You are never handed off to a junior or a project manager, and there is a short path from decision to action.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. I am based in Copenhagen and work with both Danish and international brands, including across the Nordics. Language and time zone are rarely an obstacle, and part of the value is having one experienced point of contact in Denmark rather than coordinating a whole agency from a distance.
What does it cost?
It depends on the task and the scope, from a single review to an ongoing collaboration. I would rather give you a concrete quote once I understand your situation than a number pulled from thin air. Book a no-obligation meeting and we can talk through what makes sense for you.
What is your background?
I am CEO of Danish webshops and have more than ten years of experience in digital marketing across more than twenty brands. I advise from practice rather than theory, because I sit with a bottom line myself every day.
What kind of work do you turn down?
I do not take on work where I do not believe I can make a real difference. If another solution fits your needs better, I would rather say so up front. That is worth more to both of us than a collaboration that moves nothing.
