Illustration of analysing visibility in AI answers

One of the difficult questions in GEO is how to measure progress. An AI answer is not a fixed results page, and it can change with the wording, time and selected model. Morningscore attempts to make part of that uncertainty measurable by following defined prompts over time.

What Morningscore measures

Morningscore is a Danish SEO and GEO tool that also includes conventional rank tracking, link data and technical website checks. According to its documentation, prompt tracking can run custom questions in ChatGPT and record whether a brand appears in the answer or its sources.

That is narrower than measuring every form of AI visibility. A stable prompt set does, however, make it possible to repeat a similar check and follow direction over time.

Strengths

SEO and GEO in one view. Teams can examine traditional rankings and selected ChatGPT prompts in the same product. This makes it easier to treat them as related signals without assuming they measure the same thing.

Repeatable prompts. A defined prompt list is more useful than occasional manual questions because wording and topic can remain broadly consistent between measurements.

Danish origin. Morningscore is built in Odense and offers Danish language and support. That is practical for Danish teams, although it does not make the data inherently more accurate.

Limitations

A tracker can only measure the prompts selected. It cannot prove how every user asks a question or whether a mention produces a visit or sale. AI responses also vary as models and search features change.

The results are therefore samples and trends, not a complete market share. Absence in one test does not prove that a brand is never mentioned, and one mention does not demonstrate a durable position.

A more useful measurement setup

  1. Choose prompts that represent specific customer questions and relevant topics.
  2. Keep wording stable enough for comparisons over time.
  3. Separate brand mentions, source citations and clicks because they are different outcomes.
  4. Compare AI data with search performance, traffic and enquiries.
  5. Review the prompt set when the market or customer questions change.

Morningscore can provide a practical indicator, but it does not replace a broader assessment of visibility and business outcomes. Read the GEO guide and the article about Generative Engine Optimization for the wider method.
