CPA

CPA (Cost Per Acquisition or Cost Per Action) is the average cost of achieving a defined conversion, such as a sale or a lead registration. The metric is calculated by dividing ad spend by the number of conversions. CPA is often the primary steering metric for performance campaigns.

An advertiser with a maximum acceptable CPA of $30 can set automated bid strategies to hit exactly that level.
