Custom audience

A custom audience is a target group the advertiser defines from its own data, such as customer lists, website visitors, or app users. The audience is used for retargeting and to exclude or include specific groups. Custom audiences also form the basis for generating lookalike audiences.

A webshop uploads its customer list as a custom audience to exclude existing customers from a campaign aimed at new buyers.
