Frequency capping
Frequency capping is a setting that limits how many times the same user may see an ad within a given period. The purpose is to avoid ad fatigue and wasted budget on overexposure. The cap is typically set per day, week, or campaign.
By setting frequency capping to three impressions a week, an advertiser avoids irritating the same users with the same banner over and over.
