Paid advertising

Performance Max

Performance Max is a campaign type in Google Ads that unifies all of Google's channels into a single campaign driven by automation. The advertiser supplies goals, budget, and ad assets, after which the system distributes impressions across search, display, YouTube, Gmail, Discover, and Maps. The campaign optimizes toward conversions or conversion value based on the set goals.

An online store combines its product feed and creative assets in a Performance Max campaign and lets the system find buyers across Google's surfaces.
