SEA

SEA stands for Search Engine Advertising, meaning paid advertising in search engines, primarily Google Ads. The term is often used as the counterpart to SEO: SEO is the organic visibility, SEA is the paid. Together, the two disciplines make up the broader concept of SEM.

A company that works on SEO and also runs Google Ads campaigns covers its search visibility with both the organic side and paid SEA.
