Marketing mix

The marketing mix is a classic model that brings together the key levers in marketing, often described as the four Ps: product, price, place, and promotion. The model is used to ensure that all elements work together to reach the target audience. Newer versions expand it with additional Ps such as people and process.

An online store can use the marketing mix as a checklist and discover that a strong product is selling poorly because the price doesn't match the positioning.
