302 Redirect

A 302 redirect is a temporary redirect that signals a page has only moved for a period of time. Search engines keep the original URL in the index and do not transfer authority the way a 301 does. It suits short-term situations such as campaigns or maintenance.

A campaign page can point to a temporary landing page with a 302, keeping the original address intact once the campaign ends.
