CLS

CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) measures how much the content on a page moves unexpectedly during loading. High values occur when elements get shoved around while the user is reading or trying to click. A stable page keeps the score close to zero.

Reserving fixed space for images and ads with predefined dimensions prevents text from jumping and worsening CLS.
