Lazy loading

Lazy loading is a technique where images and other content are only loaded once they are about to enter the user's viewport. It reduces initial load time and saves bandwidth. The method is especially valuable on pages with many images.

A long product listing loads only the top images immediately, while the rest are fetched as the user scrolls down.
