Noindex

Noindex is an instruction that tells search engines not to include a particular page in their index. It is typically used for pages with no value to searchers, such as internal search results, thank-you pages, or thin archives. A noindex page can still be crawled but will not appear in search results.

A login area is often set to noindex, because it doesn't make sense in public search results.
