Sitemap

A sitemap is a file, usually in XML format, that lists the important URLs on a website to help search engines find them. It can include extra information such as the last modified date and is especially useful on large or new sites. A sitemap does not guarantee indexing, but it makes page discovery more efficient.

A newly launched webshop can submit its XML sitemap in Search Console to get its pages discovered faster.
