Bounce Rate

Bounce rate is the share of visits where the user leaves the page without further interaction. In GA4, a bounce is defined as a session that was not engaged, meaning under ten seconds, with no conversion and only one page view.

A high bounce rate on a landing page can mean the content does not match the ad the user clicked on.
