Click-to-open rate

Click-to-open rate, abbreviated CTOR, is the share of those who opened the email who also clicked a link. The metric isolates content quality from the subject line's ability to get the email opened. A high CTOR shows that the content lives up to what the subject line promised.

With a thousand opens and two hundred clicks, the click-to-open rate is twenty percent.
