Engagement rate

Engagement rate is the share of sessions counted as engaged, meaning they last over ten seconds, trigger a conversion, or include at least two page views. The metric is GA4's replacement for the old bounce rate and expresses the opposite.

An engagement rate of 70 percent shows that most visitors stay on the page and interact with the content.
