Z-pattern

The Z-pattern describes a scanning path on simple pages with little text, where the eye moves from the top corner diagonally down to the opposite side. It is used to place key elements along that path.

Logo, menu, message and call-to-action button are distributed along the Z shape, so the gaze is led to the call to action last.
