Sender reputation

Sender reputation is the assessment mailbox providers form of a sender's reliability based on the sending IP and domain. The reputation is built on a history of engagement, complaints, bounces, and spam traps. A good reputation leads to inbox delivery, while a poor one leads to the spam folder or rejection.

A sudden spike in unsubscribes and spam complaints pulls the sender reputation down and worsens deliverability for subsequent sends.
