Single opt-in

Single opt-in is a signup method where the subscriber becomes active immediately without confirming their address via a follow-up email. It generates more signups, but also carries a higher risk of mistyped or fake addresses. The method is often chosen when fast list growth is prioritised over list quality.

A campaign uses single opt-in, so participants are added to the list as soon as they enter their email.
