Sunset policy

A sunset policy is a defined rule for when inactive contacts are removed entirely from regular sends. The rule typically sets a limit for how long a contact may go without engagement before being phased out. The policy protects sender reputation by systematically removing dead weight.

A sunset policy specifies that contacts with no activity for 180 days stop receiving campaigns.
