Drip campaign

A drip campaign is a series of pre-scheduled emails sent at fixed intervals over a period of time. The recipient is fed content in a set order, drip by drip, often to educate or warm up the lead. The sequence runs automatically once the contact has entered it.

After downloading an ebook, the contact receives a drip campaign of five emails over two weeks that expand on the topic.
