Email and automation

Inactive subscriber

An inactive subscriber is a contact who hasn't opened or clicked in emails over an extended period. Inactive contacts drag down engagement figures and can hurt deliverability if left on the list. They're typically handled with a re-engagement flow and removed if they still don't respond.

Subscribers with no opens in six months are marked inactive and sent one last re-engagement email to try to win them back.
